AC Milan Set to Sign Brighton Defender Estupinan

Brighton defender Pervis Estupinan is on the verge of completing a high-profile transfer to Italian powerhouse AC Milan, according to latest reports.
The Serie A giants have been pursuing the Ecuadorian full-back throughout the summer transfer window, having already seen one initial bid rejected by Brighton.
Negotiations between the clubs have progressed significantly, with sources indicating a deal is imminent that would see Estupinan join the seven-time European champions.
Brighton had reportedly set an asking price of approximately £17 million for the 27-year-old defender, who still has three years remaining on his current contract (expiring in 2027).
Career Highlights:
- Arrived in England in 2016 with Watford but never made a senior appearance
- Established himself in La Liga with Villarreal
- Won the 2021 Europa League, featuring in the final victory over Manchester United
- Made over 100 appearances for Brighton across three seasons
The left-back's time at Brighton has been somewhat marred by injury, most notably a serious ankle problem in 2024 that ruled him out of the Copa America tournament.
