Celtic Mourn Death of Lisbon Lion Fallon

Former Celtic goalkeeper John Fallon, known as the "12th Lisbon Lion," has passed away at age 84. The football legend played a crucial role in Celtic's historic 1967 European Cup victory against Inter Milan, serving as the team's sole substitute during the iconic match in Lisbon.
During his illustrious 14-year career with Celtic, Fallon achieved remarkable success, including:
- 6 league titles
- 5 League Cups
- 2 Scottish Cups
Joining the Parkhead club in 1958, Fallon made nearly 200 appearances before concluding his playing career with spells at Motherwell and Greenock Morton.
Celtic FC released an emotional statement honoring their former player: "His love for Celtic remained unwavering throughout his life, and he continued supporting the club passionately both home and away. His passing brings profound sadness to our community, and our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time."
Fallon's death follows closely after the recent passing of fellow Lisbon Lion John Clark, who also died at age 84 last month.
